Greg Cannon
Born in Elliot Lake, Ontario, and educated across the North, Greg's paintings are inspired by the natural beauty of Northern Ontario and from his travels as a contractor before he retired.
Greg typically paints in oil with a heavy impasto but also strays into bringing his 40 years of experience as a welder and mechanic into metal sculpture and multi-media art using both his painting skill on metal.
K.M. Cannon
Kristan (K.M.) is a multi-media artist as well as a freelance writer and author.
Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, and educated in North Bay and Toronto, her paintings reflect her life and where she has travelled throughout her life usually in vivid and impressionist style. She favours painting in acrylic and oil on stretched canvas, watercolour sketching on paper, and sculpts using clay, cement, and anything else she can get her hands on.
Kristan is a staunch supporter of literacy, reading, and young writer's programs, and an outspoken activist for freedom of speech and civil rights. She is an active member of the Freelancer's Union, the Online News Association, the Sudbury Arts Council, and Sudbury Writer's Guild.
When not researching for writing or painting, Kristan exists for gardening in her backyard that she is slowly turning into an urban farm with her two cats, her friends, and family... or for video games and books when snow and ice cover the yard.
